Job Title: Project Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive engineer to spearhead the coordination and execution of industrial construction projects.
The ideal candidate will work closely with senior project managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior project managers by preparing comprehensive reports, charts, and project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Coordinate design and engineering between different disciplines and perform clash checks for PEB, civil works, piping, ducts, and openings.
- Prepare preliminary schedules, bar charts, catch-up plans, and look-ahead schedules.
- Assist in cost estimation, tendering processes, and tender documentation.
- Expedite and follow up on submissions, resolving bottlenecks proactively.
- Track and report potential or actual project conflicts to the project manager.
- Expedite resolutions for queries during the execution stage.
- Prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action points.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or Master's in Construction/Project Management (M. Tech in CPM).
- 2-4 years of experience in project or construction management within consultancy or construction organizations.
- Preference for candidates with experience in industrial construction projects.
- Basic understanding of cost estimation, tendering, and documentation.
- Proficiency in preparing schedules, bar charts, and project tracking tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up abilities to remove bottlenecks and expedite progress.
