We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Financial Analyst to join our team at the Ampersand Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to drive business decisions and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting by preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and align financial strategies with business goals.
- Monitor and assess key financial KPIs, costs, and revenue trends to enhance decision-making.
- Assist in cost analysis, profitability assessments, and investment evaluations.
- Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, or Corporate Finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software (SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).
- Understanding of financial statements, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
