
Operations Excellence Manager

This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste by spearheading the implementation of lean methods.
- Lead strategic process improvement projects utilizing techniques such as definition, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control to drive business outcomes.
- Optimize facility utilization and workflow organization through collaborative efforts with colleagues to design efficient workstations and processes.
- Facilitate groups and individuals across all functions to identify quality improvement projects and determine appropriate methodology applications.
- Communicate project progress to champions and steering committees while implementing best practices.
- Provide expert guidance and assistance as a Six Sigma coach for Green Belts, Process Owners, and Team Members.
- Monitor team activities, analyze data, and ensure adherence to timelines.
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Leading and influencing teams through education and effective communication.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify high-impact improvement opportunities.
- Tracking and reporting project results to ensure sustained process improvements.
- Leading multi-disciplined teams in addressing quality issues and executing systemic improvement projects.
- Coaching and facilitating teams to support business growth and expansion.
- Preparing reports and conducting data analysis using analytical tools and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Overall experience of 4 to 7 years with at least 3 years of LEAN & Six Sigma experience.
Key Competencies:
- Black belt certification is advantageous.
- Working experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong business acumen, facilitation skills, and analytical techniques.
- Ability to understand and create data analysis.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Desirable Job Competencies:
- Two years of experience leading Six Sigma projects.
- Proven team leadership skills and ability to influence others effectively.
- Results-driven with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
- Forward-thinking and analytical skills.
