Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing mobile applications to ensure they meet our high standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing, as well as good experience in API testing.

You will work closely with BA's, functional lead and Development team to provide status to the Test Lead / Manager and support testing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery
  • Provide status to the Test Lead / Manager
  • Support testing team
  • Working closely with BA's, functional lead and Development team.
  • Support in Test Planning, and managing the testing effort for any given release
  • Design Test scenarios and Test Cases
  • Bug Tracking and Reporting
  • Defect Coordination

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing.
  • Good experience in API testing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and its methodologies, such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases in highly structured environments, performing all types of testing.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects.
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics.
  • Advantage to have experience in tool for mobile testing.
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Implement effective managerial and testing techniques
  • Ability to interact with technical team to convert functional requirement to test specs.
  • Must have excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experienced in preparing test data, Preparation of test cases and Test execution
  • Very client focused with regards to service delivery
