Manual QA Engineer Position

We are seeking a meticulous QA Manual Engineer to join our team of experts.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in manual testing of software applications, including those integrated with Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities include developing and executing detailed test cases and test plans, as well as identifying and reporting defects.

A strong analytical mind and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and execute detailed manual test cases and test plans based on requirements and user stories particularly for Marketing Cloud data.
  • Perform functional regression integration UI and exploratory testing of software applications.
  • Identify document and report defects in the issue tracking system collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements product designs schedules or potential problems including those related to Marketing Cloud interactions.
  • Work closely with the QA automation team to identify test cases for automation and provide manual testing support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Provide feedback on usability and advocate for the end-user experience.
  • Document and provide clear reports on testing activities and project quality status.
  • Follow the established QA Best Practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on manual testing of software applications, including those integrated with Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience in creating and executing detailed manual test cases and test plans, specifically for Marketing Cloud functionalities.
  • Familiarity with software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in documenting and troubleshooting errors.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
