Cloud Migration Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using private and public cloud technologies.
  • Plan, deliver, and implement migration projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain and support cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years combined experience in Windows/Linux/Cloud Infrastructure in a Medium/Large Datacenter environment.
  • Extensive experience on Storage technologies design and implementations- NetApp, Commvault, EMC etc.
  • Delivery experience in large scale Cloud infrastructure project is must.
  • Prior experience in migrating NAS data to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and designing backup solution on-prem and public cloud like AWS, Azure & GCP.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data backup & recovery applications like Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam. (Commvault preferable)
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge on virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge on DR and replication feature in Commvault and Veeam (VBR) – Commvault Live Sync.
