Job Title: Cloud Solutions Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Expert to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, with expertise in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture Leadership:
    • Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with Chevron's technical objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate technology options and guide development teams.
  • Solution Design:
    • Design and architect complex cloud solutions that ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Tech Roadmap:
    • Construct an Azure-focused technology roadmap that aligns with Chevron's long-term goals.
    • Explore and identify cutting-edge Azure services and features that can propel technological advancement.
  • Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify and assess technical risks linked with Azure infrastructure and applications.
  • Vendor Engagement:
    • Engage with external vendors and technology associates to scrutinize third-party offerings compatible with Azure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • 8+ years of experience as a solution architect, software engineer, or related role.
  • Expertise in Azure services and architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
