Job Opportunity

Lead our data science team and drive business value through modeling and experimentation. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration while overseeing the development of data science models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing data science team to deliver exceptional products.
  • Oversee the development of data science models from conducting code reviews to supporting launches, keeping the team accountable and impactful.
  • Give data scientists the tools and motivation to build predictive models that drive business impact.
  • Apply data and algorithmic thinking to address business and domain problems.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams and Product Management to solve complex problems and identify opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the technical strategy for the data science team.
  • Code, build, and integrate models as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as manager of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning tools, techniques, and frameworks.
  • Experience in building and productizing models, iterating and improving them over time.
  • Ability to advise leadership on decisions related to your field and expertise.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, as well as foundational skills in Python, pandas, and SQL.

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of experiment design.
  • Experience with natural language processing techniques.
  • FinTech background.
