Data Science Manager Opportunity

As a Data Science Manager, you will lead our growing data science team in creating a data-driven culture and improving decision-making efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and lead the data science team to deliver world-class products.
  2. Oversee the development of data science models from conducting code reviews to supporting launches while keeping the team accountable and impactful.
  3. Give data scientists the tools and motivation to build predictive models that lead to business impact.
  4. Apply data and algorithmic thinking to address business and domain problems.
  5. Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and Product Management to solve problems, identify trends and opportunities.
  6. Lead the technical strategy of the data science team.
  7. Roll up your sleeves to code, build, and integrate models as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as manager of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning tools and techniques.
  • Experience building and productizing models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of experiment design.
  • Experience with natural language processing techniques.
  • Fintech background.
