  • We are seeking an experienced professional to support the development and implementation of our Data Quality Framework, ensuring high-quality data across the business.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • A key responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and maintain Data Quality Rules and Dashboards using SQL and/or Informatica, to monitor critical data elements for specific business areas.
  • The role holder will also be required to create Data Quality Indicators (DQIs) and Data Quality Dashboards in Power BI, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Data Quality Analysis: Identify the root cause of data quality issues through targeted analysis, making recommendations to address data quality issues and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
  • Data Quality Monitoring: Develop and maintain Data Quality Rules and Dashboards to monitor known data quality issues.
  • Data Quality Reporting: Support monthly BAU activities by running and providing Data Quality Indicators and Dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Issue Management: Maintain the Data Quality Issue Management Platform, ensuring all work assigned is kept updated, and relevant stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Presentation and Communication: Present data quality-related content at meetings or working groups, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational Risk Management Policies and Data Governance Policies, protecting sensitive data and managing it effectively throughout its lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate-level SQL development experience with the ability to write T-SQL.
  • Experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Desirable: Experience delivering data quality monitoring dashboards and tools, knowledge of Data Quality tools, and experience in Financial Services.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education and Certifications:
  • A university degree in a quantitative field, such as Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with ETL and Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Awareness of the principles of the development lifecycle.
