  • ">
  • Working inside our custom WordPress engine (themes, plugins, internal tools).">
  • Build and maintain advanced Gutenberg blocks, leveraging hooks, APIs, and custom theme logic.">
  • Optimize database queries and code execution (profiling, debugging, chasing wasted milliseconds and memory leaks).">
  • Integrate with REST APIs and support complex integrations/microservices.">
  • Work daily in Docker/Podman environments (WP-CLI, container operations, Linux commands).">
  • Collaborate with front-end integrators to connect blocks/themes while owning the backend architecture.">
">Required Skills & Qualifications">

  • Deep expertise in PHP and the WordPress ecosystem (hooks, APIs, plugins, themes, Gutenberg).">
  • Strong SQL skills and proven experience optimizing queries for performance.">
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservice integration patterns.">
  • React experience, especially for Gutenberg block development.">
  • Comfortable with Docker/Podman workflows and Linux environments (WP-CLI, file manipulation, container ops).">
  • A performance-minded developer: profiling, measuring, and optimizing code execution.">
  • MacOS or Linux development environment (mandatory).">
  • Good command of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6).">
  • Experience working closely with designers and front-end integrators.">
  • Awareness of accessibility and Core Web Vitals best practices.">
