Sr. BIM Electrical Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. BIM Electrical Specialist to create, manage and coordinate 3D electrical models using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical layouts, schematics, conduit/tray routing, panel schedules, lighting and ELV systems in Revit MEP software.
  • Evaluate clash detection and resolution by coordinating with other MEP disciplines.
  • Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings and installation drawings based on design models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and contractors for BIM execution and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling for MEP projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Di-Roots and Dynamo.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and cable routing.
  • Experience with clash detection, coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements knowledge.
