Job Title:

Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced engineer to lead engineering design assignments on large-scale project teams.

  • Contribute to engineering design assignments in a team environment, working on complex projects across the globe.
  • Have a strong understanding of design tools such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Open Roads, with experience in tools like E-Survey, 12D, Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and GeoPak.
  • Be proficient in modeling software, with knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Navisworks.
  • Provide technical support to designers, including relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings, and clash analysis.
  • Work effectively in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360), coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors, and ensuring quality checks.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to design staff on Building Information Modeling systems, providing 3D models using project specifications and content.
  • Participate in conceptual planning, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge from concept to completion.
  • Contribute to the development of concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering drawing, and plans, including general and drainage plan drawings, plan/profile drawings, section drawings, and detail drawings.
  • Complete design activities to specified standards, including earthworks modeling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design of ponds and other retention systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
