We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Software Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying scalable software solutions using geospatial technologies.

About the Role:

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems that leverage geographic information systems (GIS) and other geospatial tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing custom connectors to integrate with customer interfaces
  • Communicating technical requirements with customers and developing architecture for implementations
  • Analyzing, reviewing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging
  • Ensuring seamless integration of software with customer systems
  • Maintaining technical documentation and coordinating software integration
  • Expert knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ArcGIS Desktop /Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and ability to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data
  • Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, HTML, CSS languages and frameworks)
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud is an asset
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications
  • Clean code writing skills with well-defined abstractions reducing complexity
  • Passionate about implementing responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Knowledge and utilization of REST API and other web services for integrating
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration
  • Proficiency in Azure Repo with knowledge of git and Azure Containers
  • Degree in GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, or related field
