Investment Risk Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned Investment Risk Manager to support our Chief Risk Officer in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various types of risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Analyze potential risks, evaluate investment portfolios, and assess exposure to market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks.
  • Risk Mitigation: Implement risk mitigation strategies, support implementation of risk limits, and collaborate with the investment team to ensure risk considerations are incorporated into portfolio decisions.
  • Change Management: Contribute to the review of new products, processes, and activities.
  • Investment Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all risk management activities adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare detailed risk reports, develop risk models, and continuously monitor market conditions and risk exposures.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA is a plus).
  • Experience: 7–10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an investment management or financial services organization.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, with experience in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
