Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks for native mobile apps (Android and iOS), web applications and PWAs using Java.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive automated test suites to ensure maximum test coverage and efficiency.
  • Identify and integrate AI-powered tools and techniques to improve test case generation, defect prediction, visual regression testing and overall automation efficiency.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our native mobile applications, web platforms and Progressive Web Applications through robust automation testing strategies.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in software testing or a related role with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Deep understanding of automation testing methodologies, principles and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining automation testing frameworks for Native Apps, Web applications, PWAs and API Testing.
  • Strong proficiency in using testing tools and technologies such as Jira, Git, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrable familiarity and practical experience with AI-powered tools and techniques relevant to software testing.
  • Solid experience as a Java Developer, SDET or Test Automation Engineer with strong coding skills in Java.
  • Significant experience in automating various software layers, debugging applications and automated test scripts and optimizing their performance.
  • Ability to programmatically test your own code and contribute to code quality.
  • Minimum understanding of design patterns, data structures and layered architecture with the ability to apply these concepts in test environments.
  • Proven experience working within Agile process management methodologies.
  • Strong ability to evaluate and select appropriate automated testing tools and frameworks to address specific testing challenges.
