Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled automation tester with experience in designing, developing, and executing automated tests using Python. The successful applicant will have a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools, including proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Python and other relevant tools.
  • Create reusable common-lib modules for UI steps, data-driven testing, SOAP/REST API, JSON parsing, AODA compliance, PDF test, ETL support, and Mobile UI testing.
  • Develop frameworks in Java (Maven) and JavaScript (Node.js), using Excel for test data and JSON for object repositories.
  • Architect RAPID Automation Test Management Platform, a 24/7 self-sustaining system for executing automation regression test scripts.
  • Support REST API workflows with automated test case generation, JSON assertions, and data encryption.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools.
  • A strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
