Accounting Expertise Required

We are seeking a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable audit firm or large corporate finance environment. This role involves leading the preparation and finalization of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per Ind AS and/or IFRS, designing and implementing accounting manuals, guidelines, and SOPs to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in accounting standards, proficiency in SAP BPC, FICO, and MM modules, strong communication skills, and advanced Excel capabilities. They must be able to liaise with statutory auditors to coordinate and successfully complete audit processes and address key issues.

  • Lead the preparation and finalization of standalone and consolidated financial statements as per Ind AS and/or IFRS.
  • Design and implement accounting manuals, guidelines, and SOPs to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors to coordinate and successfully complete audit processes and address key issues.
  • Act as the SAP BPC, FICO & MM module finance lead – managing day-to-day transactional accounting, system enhancements, and internal controls.
  • Review and validate monthly and annual closing activities.
  • Provide financial analysis, reports, and insights to support business decisions.
  • Competition analysis.
  • Review of balance sheet schedules and ensuring prompt action as may be required.
  • Drive automation and improvements in accounting processes and reporting systems.

This is a challenging role requiring a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing statutory audits end-to-end and will be able to make significant contributions to our organization's financial management and planning processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Prior experience in a reputable audit firm or large corporate finance environment is essential.
  • Thorough understanding and practical application of Ind AS and other relevant accounting standards.
