Job Title: System Operations Manager

A highly skilled and experienced System Operations Manager is required to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting Grafana dashboards to signal failures and problems, managing incident communication, and providing frequent updates of the status of incidents to all parties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of observability tools, focusing on operational metrics such as Quantiles, P99, and Prometheus. Experience working with microservices that run on a Kubernetes background and familiarity with AWS services or any cloud provider are also essential.

Key Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience responding and monitoring a globally deployed web application.
  • Familiarity with AWS services or any cloud provider.
  • Strong understanding of observability tools, focusing on operational metrics.

Benefits:

This is a contract role approved for 1 year, with the possibility of extension beyond this period. The successful candidate will work 40 hours a week, with some flexibility to accommodate cross-over with US teams.

Start Date: Immediate (no notice period preferred).
