Job Title: BIM Trainer and Mentor

Overview:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive BIM training sessions, creating curriculum content, and guiding students in their BIM skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. BIM Training: Design and deliver engaging BIM training sessions that cater to various learning styles and skill levels. Develop curriculum content that covers BIM concepts, software tools, and industry best practices.
  2. Mentorship: Provide one-on-one guidance to students, focusing on problem-solving abilities, understanding of workflows, and professional development.
  3. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with instructional design teams to create and enhance training materials, exercises, and assessments. Ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
  4. Remote Support: Offer technical assistance to students through virtual communication channels, addressing questions and issues promptly.
  5. Industry Insights: Stay informed about the latest trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in the BIM field, sharing valuable insights with students.

Requirements:

  • BIM Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Building Information Modeling is required, along with proficiency in popular BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, with the ability to convey complex BIM concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Experience in conducting training sessions or mentoring individuals in the AEC industry is necessary, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and skill levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve BIM-related challenges are crucial.
  • Continuous Learning: Self-driven learners who stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies, workflows, and industry trends are highly valued.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, etc.).

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
