Job Title: Technical Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering principles, with experience in Python and Node.js development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement APIs

The successful candidate will design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js (Express). This includes creating API endpoints, implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, and ensuring data consistency and integrity.

Develop Microservices Architecture

The engineer will develop and maintain microservices architecture using containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). This includes setting up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and optimizing resource utilization.

Ensure Security and Performance

The candidate will ensure API security through authentication, authorization, and encryption (OAuth 2.0, JWT). Additionally, they will optimize performance with caching strategies, load balancing, and asynchronous processing.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

The engineer will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions. This includes participating in code reviews, architectural discussions, and ensuring seamless integration of services.

Requirements
  • Strong Proficiency in Python and Node.js
  • Solid Understanding of Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems
  • Experience with RESTful API Design Principles and Best Practices
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proficient in Version Control Systems (Git/GitHub)
  • Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases
