Performance Expert

As a Performance Expert, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and value across industries. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and gather non-functional requirements, derive NFR-based statistics through discussion with business stakeholders, and create scenario plans for performance tests.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and gather necessary non-functional requirements.
  • Derive NFR-based statistics on the basis of discussion with Business & Architects.
  • Create scenario plans for basic types (Peak, Soak, Stress) & advance types (spike, scalability etc.) of performance tests.
  • Conduct performance testing using JMeter (API), LoadRunner (UI).
  • Monitor using Appd/Graphana tools.
  • Provide well-written documentation, including performance test plans and test summary reports, to stakeholders with details of test carried out & their results.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with JMeter (API), LoadRunner (UI).
  • Experience in monitoring using Appd/Graphana tools.
  • Working knowledge on tools like Postman for API & able to understand end points/payloads etc.
  • Hands-on experience in Test Estimation, Test Data Setup and Defect Management.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Jenkins, or GitLab etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in testing concepts/standards & Agile methodology.
  • Basic knowledge on infra capacity planning.
  • Experience in Banking domain.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure & performance metrics.
