Faculty Position in Forensic Medicine

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our faculty as an instructor in the Department of Forensic Medicine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting research, and contributing to the academic excellence of the institution.

  • Teaching Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and seminars on Forensic Medicine & Toxicology to students at all levels.
  • Guide postgraduate students in dissertation work, case discussions, and journal clubs, integrating forensic principles with clinical practice.
  • Update curriculum and materials as per regulatory guidelines.
  • Research and Publications:
  • Pursue original research projects in forensic pathology, toxicology, medical jurisprudence, and related fields.
  • Publish research papers in reputable national and international journals, collaborating with other departments for interdisciplinary research.
  • Support Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate thesis work.
  • Clinical and Medico-Legal Work:
  • Supervise medicolegal autopsies and postmortem examinations, providing expert opinion in criminal and civil cases.
  • Ensure proper documentation, sample preservation, and record maintenance.
  • Liaise with law enforcement, judiciary, and forensic science laboratories as required.
  • Administrative and Leadership:
  • Organize academic events, manage departmental records, and ensure adherence to institutional policies.
  • Assume leadership roles within the department, such as Head or Coordinator.

Qualifications: MD (Forensic Medicine) with relevant experience and publications.
