Cyber Security Expert

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients' cybersecurity operations by managing critical security vulnerabilities and patch deployment across Unix/Linux infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities on Identity and Access Management (IAM) components deployed on Linux servers, updating configurations to close security gaps, and resolving Apache vulnerabilities, including Zero Day vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patch Management:
    • You will collaborate with the Security Engineering team to understand vulnerabilities and assist with patching in Unix-based environments.
    • You will administer Linux patches and configurations to ensure seamless operation.
  • Vulnerability Management:
    • Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk levels.
    • Develop strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
    • Implement measures to prevent future vulnerabilities.
Preferred Skills & Tools:
  • Hands-on experience with Linux is essential.
  • IAM knowledge, specifically expertise in Linux with IAM flavor, is highly valued.
  • Unix-based environment patching expertise is also required.
  • Apache server vulnerability management skills are necessary.
  • Security configuration management experience is preferred.
