About This Role
We are setting up a new dairy processing facility and seeking an experienced dairy operations professional to lead its establishment, commissioning, and smooth operation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in dairy industry operations, plant setup, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance in setting up the facility from design to commissioning.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
- Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
- Establish supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
- Provide expertise in enterprise resource planning integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
- Establish key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor facility efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in dairy processing, operations, or plant management, with a proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
