Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Industry Transformation Leader to join our dynamic team at EXL IT service management. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions to drive business growth and transformation within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the creation and execution of strategic plans aligned with the company's growth strategy.
  • Lead as a deal owner, managing the end-to-end RFP/RFI process in the Insurance Vertical, including Life, Annuities, Group Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, Supplemental Health, etc.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution proposals that align with our products and services.
  • Develop and lead the narrative of what the solution should entail, integrating multiple EXL capabilities to present a simplified storyline highlighting client business problems and key outcomes.
  • Build reactive capability to improve existing solutions for clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of various Auto, Home, Specialty, Commercial, and their operational nuances through secondary research and conversations with industry experts, clients, and subject matter experts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 12-15 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in L&A, in areas such as data management analytics, strategic consulting, digital transformation, solution design, pre-sales and bid management, account management, opportunity assessment, and insurance operations leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Mathematics, Insurance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA (full-time) from a Tier 2 or better institute.
  • Strong business writing skills, analytical mindset, and ability to orchestrate appropriate end-to-end solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong presentation and negotiation abilities, and willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations.
