We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the development of innovative technology solutions.

As a key member of an agile team, you will play a vital role in improving, developing, and delivering reliable, market-leading technology solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

You will be tasked with implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains within various business functions to support the firm's business goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality software products that align with business objectives and fulfill customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability
  • Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
  • Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to team members

Required Skills:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced hands-on experience in Java Technologies, RESTful Services, Microservices, and Springboot
  • Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (React, Angular)
  • Experience in Kafka, Cassandra, Cloud Micro-service Development, Restful API development
  • Hands-on Experience in DevOps technologies (GitHub, Jenkins)
