Workday Functional Consultant

This role involves planning and prioritizing tasks, assisting leads by providing inputs on all phases of delivery lifecycle, collating and reporting status/impediments with the greater project team.

Key responsibilities include leading/managing small implementation projects/launch implementations, managing workload for the team, assisting teams in all phases of delivery lifecycle, collating and reporting status/impediments with the greater project team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical and functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions across client implementations.

  • Develop complex configuration for clients and Leads
  • Manage data transformation and perform EIB Data loads
  • Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support

The successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly to new skills and technologies, manage multiple projects and teams, and provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document requirements, assess complexity and level of effort estimates, prioritize capacity, and defines development and analysis timelines.
  • Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Mentor and Coach Team Members
  • Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday
  • Overall 12 years' experience is minimum
  • Excellent technical and functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions across client implementations

Education: B.E /B.Tech /MCA /BSc
