About the Role:

The IT Support Specialist will play a vital part in ensuring business continuity by providing comprehensive support across IT infrastructure, encompassing end-user support, networking, servers, and IT systems.

This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring, troubleshooting, and IT service management to guarantee seamless operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective resolutions to user requests and incidents via the IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks) to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365 to maintain secure access and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Assist in IT projects (cloud migration, system upgrades, security enhancements) by collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.

Mandatory Skills:

  • A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
