Beauty Devices Innovations Lead

Job Description

The key objective of this role is to spearhead the development of novel beauty devices and accessories. This entails driving the innovation process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and product requirements documents.

This position requires strong leadership skills, coupled with technical expertise in hardware new product development (NPD) for small appliances, consumer electronics, and beauty devices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in defining problem statements, user requirements, and success metrics, as well as driving concept-to-reality processes.

  • 6-10 years of experience in hardware NPD for small appliances, consumer electronics, or beauty devices.
  • Proven DFM/DFX, basic electrical engineering/mechanical engineering literacy (PCBA, plastics, metals, silicone), tooling, and reliability testing.
  • Strong vendor management skills, particularly in India, China, or Korea, with hands-on experience with RFQs, BOMs, PPAP/FAT.
  • Familiarity with Indian and global compliance pathways for consumer devices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo) and basic FEA/CFD interpretation, as well as Jira/PLM and Excel for should-costs.
