Senior Python Developer Position Overview:

A seasoned software development expert with extensive experience in leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members is required for a senior role at an innovative technology company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality code delivery through best practices and adherence to coding standards.
  • Implement process and technical improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Mentor and support junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum settings to deliver projects successfully.
  • Contribute across the full technology stack as needed to drive business growth.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Python programming language and its applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Jenkins, GitHub, and Visual Studio.
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, SES, S3 preferred) and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries for efficient database management.
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Software Design Principles, Agile, Scrum, and Jira.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing in C# and other relevant programming languages.
  • Previous exposure to banking and financial services domain and related industries.
  • Experience migrating applications between tech stacks and implementing legacy system modernization.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development and software engineering.
  • Proven experience in AWS cloud services, especially Lambda functions and serverless architecture.
  • Strong object-oriented programming background and expertise in design patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps best practices and automation pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and delivery.
