Job Title: Python Lead

Location: Chennai

Experience: 7+ years (with at least 2+ years in a lead role)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Python Lead to guide and mentor our development team, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, frameworks, and modern software practices, along with proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Python developers.
• Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Design) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive adoption of modern tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing systems and processes.
• Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to team members.
• Manage sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Angular, ).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to data engineering, ML/AI, or big data technologies.
• Contribution to open-source projects.
