About Senior Data Engineer Roles

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines on cloud-based platforms.

This role involves implementing data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using advanced technologies such as Apache Spark and AWS Glue.

Additionally, the successful candidate will manage and optimize cloud storage and compute environments, ensuring robust automated deployments with Terraform and Jenkins.

Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams are essential for this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building scalable data pipelines on cloud-based platforms.
  • Implementing data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions.
  • Managing and optimizing cloud storage and compute environments.
  • Ensuring robust automated deployments.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing on cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda.
  • Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analytics.
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
