We are seeking a skilled PV designer with strong residential solar design background and proficiency in designing efficient systems.

This role requires the ability to interpret site data, optimize system layouts, and produce professional designs using advanced PV design software. Time management and responsiveness are crucial to success in this position, as designs must be completed within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design residential solar PV systems based on site data and project specifications
  • Evaluate and ensure designs comply with relevant codes, utility standards, and jurisdictional requirements
  • Review and incorporate as-built site information, including photos, roof measurements, and shading
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to align designs with customer expectations and project requirements
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage daily workload efficiently to meet aggressive turnaround targets
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential PV system design
  • Strong proficiency with major solar design platforms, such as Scanifly, Aurora, or Helioscope
  • Familiarity with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to deliver within tight timelines
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working in high-volume design environments
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools
