Costing and Plant Finance Manager

The Costing and Plant Finance Manager plays a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization. This position is responsible for preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide accurate and timely insights into the company's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage SKU-wise reports to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Implement cost control measures and track performance against cost targets.
  • Monitor and control plant expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and optimization.
  • Prepare yield reports for the factory and TPU.
  • Prepare capacity utilization reports.
  • Coordinate the completion of various reconciliations required for the Cost audit.
  • Manage material procurement and processing.
  • Review production orders posted at various locations.
  • Prepare variance by price and volume.
  • Prepare cost sheets using process costing.
  • Improve tracking costs and allocation of OHs by applying Activity-Based costing.
  • Conduct inventory valuation as per procedure laid out.
  • Perform periodical factory and warehouse inventory audits.
  • Analyze slow-moving inventory.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ICWA Qualified or Semi Qualified / CMA Semi Qualified - 5 years of experience in Costing.
  • Experience in Plant Accounting.
  • Data Handling and Process Handling skills.
  • Team Handling experience.
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical.
