Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Master Data Governance solutions for material, customer, supplier, or finance master data.
  • Work on data model extension, UI enhancements, and functional specifications to drive business value.
  • Configure and activate MDG modules and components to meet business needs.

Integration & Configuration:

  • Integrate SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Work on DRF (Data Replication Framework), SOA architecture, and configuration to optimize system performance.
  • Use BRF+ and Workflow configuration for master data processes to enhance efficiency.

Process Modeling & Data Management:

  • Perform process modeling involving entities, business activity changes, request types, workflows, edition types, and relationships to improve data quality.
  • Manage data replication, key & value mapping, and data transfer mechanisms to ensure data consistency.
  • Oversee data export/import and conversion of master data to meet business requirements.

Documentation & Tools:

  • Document master data processes using Visio, PowerPoint, or modeling tools to facilitate communication.
  • Work with SAP Data Services, Data Steward, and data profiling/cleansing tools to improve data quality.

Upgrades, Enhancements & Support:

  • Handle SAP MDG upgrades and related enhancements to maintain system integrity.
  • Support SAP ERP logistics (SD/MM modules) in the context of master data to drive business success.
  • Provide technical documentation and participate in RFPs and presales to showcase expertise.

Project Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with teams across multicultural, multi-country landscapes to achieve project goals.
  • Use tools like SolMan, ChaRM, and JIRA to streamline project management.
  • Deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines with aggressive timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills necessary.
  • Willingness for short-term or long-term travel globally a plus.
