Job Purpose: As a key member of the AccorHotel team, this role supports the Purchasing Manager in executing day-to-day purchasing functions.
Responsibilities:
- Expedite purchase order deliveries by coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing requests for quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Obtain at least three bids for specifications as directed.
- Prepare budget shells from designer specifications.
- Compile reports such as bid summaries to inform procurement decisions.
- Close project files and maintain a storage log for reference.
- Maintain disclaimers, credit applications, and vendor information to ensure seamless transactions.
- Elevate Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards across sourcing, product storage, and handling.
Other Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with hotel fire safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Attend briefings, meetings, and training sessions assigned by management.
- Maintain exceptional personal appearance and hygiene standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by management to ensure team success.
Qualifications:
- Diploma education is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office administrative role or 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
- Excellent English language skills in reading, writing, and oral communication.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, the estimated annual salary for this role is around $55,000-$65,000.
