API Testing Engineer

As a seasoned API Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies for APIs using manual and automation techniques, including defect identification and collaboration with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and frameworks to support API testing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to continually improve testing processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-8+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on API testing.
  • Proven expertise in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Restsharp.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks like Playwright and Selenium with C#.
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases and their application in API testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
