Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Developer with expertise in IBM WebSphere Commerce to design, develop and maintain scalable solutions.

  • Develop and implement E-commerce applications using IBM WebSphere Commerce
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts and developers to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions
  • Apply strong Java programming and object-oriented design principles in the development process
  • Participate in application architecture discussions and ensure alignment with industry best practices
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues
  • Integrate and optimize database interactions, preferably with DB2
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

Essential Skills:

  • Core Java, JSP, Servlets

  • E-commerce business processes

Desirable Skills:

  • DB2 as the underlying OLTP database
  • REST/SOAP services
