Job Title: Financial Specialist - US Accounts Payable

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced financial professional to manage accounts payable operations for US clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to company policies.
  • Payment Processing: Manage and process payments to vendors according to terms and schedules, reconciling payments with vendor statements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of AP ledger to the general ledger, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate regularly with vendors to resolve payment inquiries, disputes, and other account-related issues.
  • Expense Reporting: Assist in expense report preparation and review, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Tax Compliance: Maintain accurate records for sales tax and 1099 reporting, adhering to U.S. tax laws.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in an AP or related finance role, with strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
  • QuickBooks experience.
  • Familiarity with U.S. tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP.
