Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our big data and analytics architecture.

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in leading the development of data warehouses, big data, and Hadoop implementations in Azure environments.
  • Skills:
    • Data Lake vs Data Warehousing concepts: Good understanding of core concepts and best practices.
    • Spark pipelines: Experience in building/tuning Spark pipelines in Python/Java/Scala.
    • Hive queries: Good experience in writing complex Hive queries to drive business-critical insights.
    • Azure environment: Experience in working on Hadoop Distribution, good understanding of core concepts and best practices.
    • Cross-functional teams: Ability to work with multiple teams, arrive at common decisions, understand architecture principles of organization, and provide solutions accordingly.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • AWS Cloud: Exposure to Lambda/EMR/Kinesis will be an added advantage.
