Key IT Asset Management Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to oversee the governance of IT assets, manage licensing compliance while also handling GRC functions. This key role involves strategic management of hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement, maintaining accurate inventories for hardware and software using ITAM tools. Define and enforce asset tracking standards and policies to optimize asset usage and reduce costs.
  • Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and true-ups for major software vendors. Track software usage and entitlements to prevent overuse or underutilization.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards on asset utilization, compliance status, and cost optimization. Establish KPIs and SLAs for IT asset management and ensure alignment with global governance standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) certification.
  • Microsoft Licensing Specialist Certification.
  • 8-12 years of experience in IT asset management, software compliance, and IT GRC.
  • Strong understanding of global compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
  • Expertise in tools such as ManageEngine, Flexera, Lansweeper, or SCCM.
  • Demonstrated experience in licensing audits and compliance management.
