Job Overview:

We are seeking a VMware expert to lead the day-to-day operations of our Cloud Foundation stack. This involves managing vSphere, vSAN, vRealize Operations, and NSX to ensure high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to the VCF stack.
  • Perform routine health checks and maintenance tasks to prevent issues.
Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with vSphere administration in production (cluster design, HA/DRS, VM lifecycle, patching).
  • Practical knowledge of vSAN operations (policy-based management, health & performance troubleshooting).
  • Working knowledge of NSX for daily operations: overlay/segments, routing concepts awareness, distributed firewall rule creation/validation, NAT.
  • Experience with vRealize Operations for monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of data center networking fundamentals and storage basics.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerCLI or Python is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of total experience in VMware virtualization & software-defined data center operations.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with vSphere & vSAN; 1-2 years with NSX daily operations.
  • Prior experience operating vRealize Operations in production.
  • Certifications like VCPDCV or VCPNV are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
