Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead our mission-critical cloud infrastructure team globally. This role involves providing 24x7 managed support for these cloud environments, overseeing a team, and ensuring the customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) exceeds benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with partners to find opportunities and ensure customer SLAs are met.
  • Review tickets and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers, provide technical guidance, and act as the Level 3 in case of escalations.
  • Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and periodic sync-up calls.
  • Evaluate team members' performance on a regular basis and provide feedback to the team and HR.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud first data center or cloud support services organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and supporting technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technology.
  • Experience with monitoring systems like Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, ManageEngine.
  • Good working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience handling a team of at least 4 people in this role.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
