About the Role:

As a Credit Risk Management Professional, you will play a crucial role in managing risk strategy and containing credit losses at our organization. You will be responsible for building different credit risk and fraud policies for non-banking financial companies using various scorecards and models. This includes Approve/Decline, block/unblock, pricing, limit assignment, and other policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective credit risk policies to minimize potential losses.

- Work closely with collections and operations teams to ensure a closed feedback loop and relay learnings into our credit decisioning strategies

- Collaborate with technology and product teams to ensure the right implementation of credit policies in the system through testing and due diligence.

- Help shape product design and operations processes by evaluating them from a Credit/Fraud risk lens

- Continuously assess the effectiveness of existing credit policies through portfolio deep dive and segment analysis and recommend changes if required.

- Build and publish portfolio monitoring reports with risk matrices on a regular basis and provide key insights.

- Own periodic reviews of the portfolio risk matrices with lending partners, risk management committees, and other committees as prescribed by the organization and regulators.

- Track collections matrices on a regular basis and support allocation data and additional information to the collections team for effective work.

- Calculate Loss Provision for portfolios and provide loss forecasting of future months.

- Provide support with data and insights on risk for lender onboarding, lender reviews, etc.

- Understand regulatory and compliance changes as prescribed by regulatory bodies and modify credit policies and processes accordingly.

- Create product programs and policy documents with subsequent changes and version controls.

Requirements:

- 4-6 years of strong analytical, monitoring, and control, execution experience in Banks/NBFCs/FinTech's

- Proficient in SQL, Python

- Prior retail credit experience will be strongly preferred followed by any experience on underwriting in proximate fields (like unsecured loans, insurance, working capital loans, etc.)

- Ability to analyze and solve complicated problems, and distil that complexity into simple and concise communication

- Seek high ownership, independent environments, and feedback-oriented cultures

- Must have a very strong operating discipline.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
