Job Title: Mainframe Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the z/OS operating system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute plans for z/OS upgrades, including pre-installation checks, customization, testing, and post-upgrade verification.
  • Apply IBM fixes to maintain system integrity and resolve reported issues.
  • Perform regular IPLs and system restarts as required for maintenance and upgrades.
  • Monitor z/OS system health, performance, and resource utilization using tools like RMF, SMF, Omegamon.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain ISV products such as Broadcom, BMC, IBM, Rocket Software.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with z/OS system management.
  • Strong understanding of IBM PTFs and APARs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic IT environment.
