Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to translate application requirements into cloud architecture/infrastructure.

  • Select appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements.
  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency with public cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience hosting applications on cloud platforms (Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory, firewalls).
  • Ability to migrate on-premises workloads to cloud service providers.

We require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

This role involves:

  • Responding to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Defining and documenting best practices and strategies regarding infrastructure maintenance.

Key skills include:

  • CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, or Terraform.
  • Loading balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN.
  • NSSM, VMWare, Ansible, Puppet/Chef.

A strong background in ITIL processes is also desired.
