DevOps Engineer

Sycamore is seeking a seasoned DevOps expert to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure and tools. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and executing procedures, automation scripts, and infrastructure implementations to support our SaaS operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex cloud-based systems and infrastructure components.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to cross-functional teams to address product issues successfully.
  • Collaborate with engineers, QA, and support teams to build, scale, and manage multi-product/service environments.
  • Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks, scripts, and processes.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cloud operations, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of SaaS products through effective change management, problem-solving, and customer-centric approach.
  • Represent Cloud Operations in InfoSec meetings and develop secure procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in implementing, managing, maintaining, and decommissioning complex cloud-based information system components.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in mentoring and training team members.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
