Financial Compliance Expert

We are seeking a seasoned accounting specialist to join our team and contribute to the financial success of our clients.
This critical role involves ensuring compliance with US accounting and payroll regulations, processing payroll for US-based clients, and maintaining accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and have experience in preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential for effective collaboration with colleagues across time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close procedures
- Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports
- Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions
- Support tax filings and compliance documentation as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in US accounting and payroll (preferably)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto, or similar platforms
