We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer Leader to join our team and contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge data-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to engineering teams on data platform architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Data Platform Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-performance data platforms using big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases.
  • Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data-related projects, focusing on innovation, quality, and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on big data technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience in leadership roles, managing teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Expert knowledge of big data technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional certifications in big data, cloud computing, or project management.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data visualization tools.
